After nearly 20 years of coaching at Iowa, UVA, & Princeton, I returned to the company I founded, Zag Tours. We have traveled the hockey world with teams for over 15 years. We have been exposed to development systems in over 25 countries. We have seen how in the highest performing countries have the best coaches coaching youth players. We have seen how playing on astro at a young age is beneficial for many reasons.

All that noted, the reality for youth field hockey in Central New Jersey is that there are few opportunities for our young girls. So I set out to change that. We developed K-5th rec hockey and character/leadership programming through our LeadHer division of Zag Tours. We created one of the largest U10/U12 only festivals in the Spring and Fall which saw hundreds of players and parents come together for the mission of empowering young girls. This fall we saw over 100 players in our K-5th program. Learn more about our programming here.
